Whole30 Ahi Poke
ingredients
1.5 lb ahi tuna (preferably sushi grade), small diced
1 shallot, minced
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 green onions, minced
5 T coconut aminos
2 T sesame oil
1 T sesame seeds
directions
Mix all ingredients and let marinate for at least 30 minutes. Serve chilled with plantain chips or over a bed of greens.
notes
It’s easier to dice the tuna if it’s partially frozen. If purchased fresh, let it sit in the freezer for a couple hours before slicing.
