Onion Dip

4 onions, coarsely chopped
1/2 t salt
2 T oil
2 t snipped fresh sage
1/3 C sour cream
2 T grated parmesan

In a large skillet over medium-low heat, saute onions with salt in oil until brown and soft, about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add sage, and cook 1 minute longer. Remove from heat and stir in parmesan and sour cream. Serve immediately with chips.
