Basic Congee

1 C uncooked rice
8 C water or stock
bok choy
ham, diced

Wash rice and put in pot with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover and let simmer until mixture thickens. Stir occasionally to prevent rice from sticking to the sides of the pot.

Season with salt, and add bok choy and diced ham.
