Chocolate Chip Cookies

4 1/2 C flour
2 t baking soda
2 C butter, softened
1 1/2 C packed brown sugar
1/2 C white sugar
2 packages of instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz. each)
4 eggs
2 t pure vanilla extract
4 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 C chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350° F. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Beat in pudding mix until blended. Stir in eggs and vanilla.

Into mixture, sift in flour and baking soda. Stir in chocolate and nuts.

Drop rounded spoonsfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10-15 minutes. Edges should be golden brown.

Makes about 6 dozen.
