directions Using a mixer, cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs in, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add in vanilla. Slowly add in flour mixture and mix until all ingredients are blended. Fold in sour cream and mix for 1 to 2 minutes more until batter is smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. (Time will vary depending on type of pan used). When done, invert onto wire rack and allow to cool before cutting. notes
